"Okay everybody! Now today we're going to talk about the time the lights went out on New Years eve. Now, I suggest that if it is stormy outside, that you get a battery-powered lamp. Because, the lights might go out. Okay. Let's get on with the show!"(Crowd cheering wildly.)
"So, are tradition that we do every New Years Eve is, we buy a bunch of sweets at the store and eat all of them. So, that's what we did this year. So, I was in the rocking chair when gabby said "Does anyone want to play aggravation with me?" Everybody said yes at the same time. We picked partners. I was Partners with Jude, Gabby was partners with Grandma, and mom was partners with dad.
We we're in the middle of the game when the lights went out! Instantly, every body started screaming. Mom told us to calm down and start looking for her phone. Everybody started looking for the phone.
Me and Jude started looting the kitchen. Since it was dark, everybody couldn't see us. when we found the phone we all slept in mom's room. Me and Jude brought up a bag of harvest cheddar sun chips to snack on.
Me and Jude didn't want to sleep in our mom's room so we decided to sleep in our own beds. Up stairs it was really cold so Jude taught me how to be warm when it's cold. He told me that to keep warm I had to tuck the blanket under me. It worked. So, eventually we fell fast asleep.
